This Sunday April 7, is our First Sunday service, but with a slight twist. We will have potluck and a Prophecy Update, but we’ll wait on having communion until Easter Sunday.
• Potluck – Our potluck theme for Sunday will be an Easter theme, which means Honeybaked Ham. The church is getting a Honeybaked Ham for this Sunday so come with an appetite. I know Shirley is bringing some brussel sprouts and Kathy is bringing some deviled eggs. I think Steph was thinking about green bean bacon bundles.
So, if you want to bring something that is great, but please, at least bring your yourself and your appetite. Let me also add, if you attend periodically or sporadically, and you don’t want to appear as showing up when there is food – I say don’t thin like this show up, please! Remember, we’re family and family always feeds family whenever we get together.
• Prophecy Update – I’m not quite certain what I will talk about, maybe just respond to any questions, but certainly whatever the Spirit of God wants.
There has been a few things on my heart: I’ve been thinking a lot lately about a recent increase of voices in the pre-trib vs post-trib debate. I’ve been thinking a lot about Daniel 9:26 and it’s absence in the loudest pre-trib vs post-trib debates.
I’ve also been thinking about the 2020 presidential elections and Congress’ assault on religious liberty which will open the door for persecution in America. Whatever we discuss, I am praying now for the Spirit of God to lead in this coming discussion.
