Tomorrow morning at CrossHope Chapel we will open to Matthew 26:31-75 and talk about Gethsemane, the arrest of Jesus, Peter’s denial of Christ, and the illegal trial before the Sanhedrin.
We are nearing the end of our study through the book of Matthew and will wrap it up this month. Starting Sunday, November 7th we will begin a new teaching series through the book of Revelation.
I’m excited about this study through the chapter and verses of Revelation because we are going see the gospel and the intent of being “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1) not the revelation of the anti-Christ.
I’m also looking forward to being able to point out some differing points of interpretation as we get to key passages. Too often we hear of certain passages in Revelation with an assumed meaning but don’t often hear the context of those verses, so in our study we will be able to take in the message and address commonly asked questions of interpretation.
We are preparing to start a Grief Support group at the Chapel that will be open to the public, starting November 4, 2021. The Grief Support group will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
The group will be open to those who have lost a spouse, child, family member, or a friend and the loss may be recent or decades ago. If someone is struggling with coping we want to provide a support group to encourage better coping and a return to living again.
