We do not have any other meetups scheduled in June, but in July we will meet on the 17th and 24th.

On Sunday, July 17, our study will be on Revelation 17:1-19:10 and on Sunday, July 24, our study will be on Revelation 19:11-20:15. Our final study in August will be on Revelation 21-22, and I’ll let you know the date for that when my schedule from the hospital is known.

Prayer Alerts

For our text prayer alerts we are using an app called Remind and they recently made a change that I want you to be aware of. It is a slight change that you likely have not noticed, but in the past if you text back to a request, that text would come straight to my phone and I would usually forward that on to the one who made the request.

As an example, a text would go out saying “Please pray for so and so because of so and so.” If you responded to that by saying “I’m praying” I would usually forward that on to whoever made the request to pray for so and so, allowing them to know that someone has responded and said they are praying.

Well, a few weeks back Remind has stopped sending those reply’s to me (as the administrator) and now they do it all within the app which means I can no longer pass them on. We can all still pray for the requests, but if you want someone to know that you are praying for their request, you’ll need to message them direct.
