ABC’s of Salvation…
Do you question if you can really be saved? Do you harbor doubts about where you will spend eternity?
Consider these ABC’s of Salvation as assurance that through faith – not by your works – you have the security of salvation…
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23
“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12
“Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
1 John 1:9; 1 Peter 5:7; Revelation 3:20
Ready to Exercise Your Faith in Jesus Christ?
Have you ever prayed and received the assurance of eternal life by confessing your belief in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for your sins?
The prayer that goes something like this one…
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I know I cannot save myself. Now in faith I ask your forgiveness. I repent of my sins and I accept your gift of eternal life. I thank you for living the life I could not and would not, and dying the death that I deserved, so I might have the eternal life that only you deserve. I accept you as my Savior and will trust you as Lord of my life. Amen.
…is the kind of prayer that Jesus Christ affirms when He said:
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.” – John 6:47
Is it your desire to pray that kind of prayer? Do you sense God’s touch upon your heart to confess your need of Him? Why not pause where you are now and pray to accept Jesus Christ into your life? Will you let me know by dropping me a quick note or a question in the form below?
