I want to share some things related to our church calendar these next few weeks, including our Holiday schedule, and our January 3, 2021 10-Year Anniversary. I’m going to highlight some dates below and just add some notes and ideas for your input.
Sunday, November 22, 2020 — Back to in-person gathering following Steph and I’s quarantine. Praise the Lord! We’ll pick up in Matthew 8.
Sunday, November 29, 2020 — Regular fellowship gathering, we’ll pick up in Matthew 9.
Sunday, December 6, 2020 — Regular fellowship gathering, we’ll pick up in Matthew 10. This is also a First Sunday and the thought has occurred to me that we could make this a Christmas theme potluck, maybe even getting a Honeybaked Ham. I am also wondering about skipping the Christmas party this year in order to put a big effort onto our 10-Year Anniversary on January 3, 2020.
Saturday, December 12 to Sunday, December 20 — I am going to be out of town because of the rescheduling of our family’s cancelled Spring vacation trip. There are 2 Sunday’s during this time that you all can choose to still meet or make it a holiday break with no meeting. We can always talk about these dates when we’re back together on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Sunday, December 27, 2020 — Holiday Break, no meeting.
Sunday, January 3, 2021 — The 10-Year Anniversary of our church fellowship since we first started meeting on January 6, 2011. I’ve been thinking about making this a big day to invite our friends and maybe even get food catered in, and some other things we can always talk about these dates when we’re back together on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Just some notes and ideas that we can start thinking about and sharing our thoughts on, too.
