Spiritual Care Network

The Spiritual Care Network is an extension of the CrossHope Chapel church community, through online media and resources, for like-minded believers of the Lord Jesus Christ (Statement of Faith) who are not connected with a local church body or are on lock-down with the COVID-19 pandemic or are simply hungry for a consistent influence of God’s Word with its biblical encouragement.

  Join the Network…

In short, if you are not active in a local church body or disconnected from one or simply needing some biblical encouragement to supplement your primary church, please join the Spiritual Care Network.

If from time to time you wish you could ask a Christian pastor a question without feeling like you’re imposing, or fear of being criticized or recruited for membership, please join the Spiritual Care Network.

When you join the Spiritual Care Network you will have pastoral care access to Steve Durkac, our pastor, and as needs arise for clergy services or as you have Bible questions, or prayer requests you’ll find spiritual care available.

Joining the Spiritual Care Network is as simple as subscribing to the Daily Promise One-Minute Devotional and the Church News & Pastoral Notes, following us on social media, and making use of our online resources to help you grow in your faith at your own pace.

  Prayer & Scripture…

In Acts 6:4 we find the apostles stating what they understood as their primary calling when they declared, “we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” The Pastoral Care Community with Steve Durkac is all about being available to you for prayer and encouragement through God’s Word.

You will never be solicited for any funds, contributions, or offers to purchase. When you subscribe to the Daily Promise One-Minute Devotional and the Church News & Pastoral Notes, your email address, will never be sold or shared or used for any other purpose.

There is never a cost or obligation, for benefiting from the Spiritual Care Network, and you can discreetly leave at anytime by unsubscribing to the daily devotional, disconnecting from our social media, and ceasing communicate.

  What it is NOT…

The Pastoral Care Community is not a formal membership in a formal church organization. Even at our Chapel we do not have official memberships, because we are members of the larger family of God by virtue of being disciples of Jesus Christ together.

  What it IS…

The Spiritual Care Network is an availability of CrossHope Chapel‘s pastoral care and our online resources, prayer support, and possible meetups. It is a no-obligation, no-cost ministry that we see as part of the mission of our church fellowship.

Prayer Support — You can submit prayer requests for our Sunday morning Prayer Board, Pastor Steve Durkac’s attention, or our church prayer ministry at any time during the week.

Bible Study Support — We have several online resources to help you study into the teachings of the Bible, like our Ask the Bible website and other means like YouTube for staying up on the current teaching at the Chapel in west Mobile, Alabama.

Bible Question — You can easily contact Pastor Steve direct with any question you may have regarding challenges in life or biblical understanding or referrals on study resources and ministries.

Bible Study Groups — If at some point you wish to start a Bible study gathering in your area, we can help you plan, organize, and implement that.

Ministry Consulting — Pastor Steve is always available to help answer any question or serve as a sounding board if you feel called to start a ministry in your community.

Pastoral Referral — If you live outside Upper Gulf Coast region we can help you locate a biblical-minded minister in your area for any conventional clergy services needs.

Pastoral Visitation — If you live within the Upper Gulf Coast region of Alabama, including the Mississippi Coast and the Emerald Coast of NW Florida, pastoral visitation may be available when a need arises.

Pastoral Meetups — If you live within the Upper Gulf Coast region of Alabama, including the Mississippi Coast and the Emerald Coast of NW Florida, a pastoral meetup can be arranged if requested, meeting at an area coffee house or public location.
