Tomorrow at CrossHope Chapel it’s First Sunday and that means we break from our Thru the Bible study to have Prophecy Q&A, communion, and, potluck lunch.
I am thinking of starting to call our First Sunday Prophecy Update, “Prophecy Q&A” instead. We kind of have updates each week with our prayer request time, and you all know I like questions. I will come ready to talk about the “Appearing” verses from Paul in 2 Timothy 4:8 and Titus 2:13, too.
For our potluck we will be grilling Angus burgers on the George Foreman, and the church will supply those along with cheese (I bought some and noticed that we had some in the fridge too), and both regular and sesame seed buns.
Remind me tomorrow and I’ll give a report on our bank balance, I haven’t done that in awhile. It’s good so that wasn’t a bad news warning.
Also we probably need to talk about Yard Sale advertising and this year’s Christmas mission project.
On potluck, I have heard a few things that are on the agenda for bringing such as baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, cheese puffs,…and that is all I can recall but whatever is good and fine.
And of course, it’s fine to show up without any food, because we all have those days where just getting there is an accomplishment, but at least bring your appetite for God’s Word and grilled hamburgers.
