On the first Sunday of every quarter we break from our regular church fellowship for potluck, communion, and a Prophecy Outlook at our gatherings.
Usually for the first Sunday of each quarter in January, April, July, and October, we have a Prophecy Sunday with potluck and communion. We sometimes have potluck at various other times throughout the year, and those times are announced at church and through our News & Notes emails.
We break from our verse-by-verse Bible teaching series and Pastor Steve Durkac offers a Prophecy Outlook feature with opportunities to ask questions about Bible prophecy topics and texts.
We often discuss and answer questions within our fellowship each week on topics of Bible prophecy, especially as current events remind us that our “redemption is drawing near“ (Luke 21:28).
However, on Prophecy Sunday we dedicate that fellowship time to “encourage one another” with a reminder of the Blessed Hope (1 Thessalonians 4:17) as we also celebrate the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, and enjoy a potluck lunch.
If you have an interest in Bible prophecy and a study of the last days, you’ll enjoy this opportunity to ask questions and put current events in perspective with the return of our Lord.
